  • How does this test work?

In this test, you can find out with just three questions whether you fall into the “sustainable” or “unsustainable” category.

We use preference clusters from a study by the Federal Environment Agency on environmental awareness in Germany in 2020 as the basis for the test. We assigned these preference clusters to the categories “sustainable” or “non-sustainable”.

    • The rejecters: not sustainable
    • The skeptical: not sustainable
    • The undecided: not sustainable
    • Prepare: sustainable
    • The Oriented: sustainable
    • The consequences: sustainable

In the quick test, we use specific questions to classify which cluster you feel you belong to. From this we can deduce your basic attitude towards sustainability.

  • A first classification of your tendency

A first classification of your tendency
The question of whether you would give up living space for the sake of the climate has a great deal of significance as to how important or unimportant sustainability is to you.

  • The classification is refined

Your answer to this second question will help us to further differentiate and specify your attitude.

  • Now values meet reality

With this question we want to close the so-called consistency gap: It expresses that theoretical values and practical action sometimes diverge. That is why we ask you whether you are willing to act sustainably in your everyday life, for example when it comes to mobility.

  • understand attitudes. optimize decisions.

With just three questions, we were able to determine whether you are sustainable or non-sustainable.

Based on just a few more questions, it is possible to make statements with a much higher level of detail: For example, we can determine sustainability preferences based on socio-demographic characteristics such as age, gender or place of residence. Or classify your stakeholders in our existain cluster:

    • The rejecters: not sustainable
    • The skeptical: not sustainable
    • The undecided: not sustainable.
    • Prepare: sustainable
    • The Oriented: sustainable
    • The consequences: sustainable

In this way, we provide you with a scientific basis for understanding the attitudes of your stakeholders – and then optimizing your decisions.
